No I wouldnt try it. Nothing could be worse for your back if you have sciatica. Let the Sciatic pain go before you go back to lifting. I got Sciatica from doing a similar lift.
@14jonny14 -YES! I could not WALK for the last 2 days without excruciating pain! It still hurts some, but I am moving better and the pain is less. I cannot afford to go t the chiro, but I prefer that and excersise over Dr.’s and medication.
After watching and trying 5 different videos here about sciatic stretching excercises, THIS ONE is THE ONE that helped. THANK YOU!!! It actually caused my hip and back to “pop” on each side as I did it and THAT caused the relief.
How long you had sciatica for? Did you slip a disk? What sport do you do?

Does anyone know if I should perform the Deadlift from weight lifting with Ciatic nerve pain??
